Aesthetic symbols are the tiny stars, hearts, flowers and soft brackets (⋆ ✧ ♡ ✿ ꒰ ꒱) that make a bio or caption look calm and pretty. Tap any symbol in the grid to copy it, or scroll down for ready dividers and bio lines you can paste in one go.

Unlike the bold styles on our cool symbols page, these are light and gentle. A few of them come from rare scripts, so very old phones may show a small box instead. We point those out below so your bio looks the same for everyone.

An aesthetic star symbol is usually ⋆ or ✧ because they are small and thin. For a full list of bigger stars, visit star symbols. The aesthetic heart symbol most people use is ♡, since the outline looks softer than a filled heart; more on the heart symbols page.

Aesthetic Symbol Copy and Paste: Ready Dividers

Dividers break a long bio or caption into neat parts. Copy any line:

  • ⋆。˚ ✧ ˚。⋆
  • ₊˚⊹♡ ⊹˚₊
  • ✿ ‧ ❀ ‧ ✿
  • ☾ ⋆。˚ ☁ ˚。⋆
  • ⟢ ⟢ ⟢
  • ⁺‧₊˚ ♪ ˚₊‧⁺

Place one divider between your name and your details, not after every line. Two or three dividers in one bio is plenty.

Cute Symbol Bio Lines (Pookie Style)

"Pookie" is a playful word for someone sweet and cute, and pookie symbol bios use soft brackets, bows and tiny hearts. Here are ready lines built only from the symbols on this page:

Bloom✿ growing slowly ✿

For a pookie symbol emoji mix, you can add one colour emoji at the end, but keep the rest in soft text symbols so the line stays calm.

Aesthetic Bow Symbol and Kawaii Symbols

There is no official "bow" character in text, so people borrow letters from other scripts that happen to look like a ribbon. ᥫ᭡ is a Tai Le letter joined with a Balinese mark, 𐙚 is a sign from the ancient Linear A script, and ᡣ𐭩 combines a Mongolian letter with a Pahlavi letter. Together they make the popular aesthetic bow symbol look.

Kawaii (Japanese for "cute") symbols work the same way: ꒰ ꒱ are Yi radicals that look like puffy brackets, ◡̈ is a curve with two dots that looks like a smiling face, and ദ്ദി are real Malayalam letters that people online use as a cute hand-pose face. Because they are letters from living or historic scripts, please do not assume they mean nothing; for Malayalam readers, ദ്ദി simply reads as letters.

♱ is an East Syriac cross, a Christian symbol. If you use it, do so respectfully.

Highlight Cover Ideas With Aesthetic Text Symbols

Short highlight names look tidy with one aesthetic text symbol in front:

  • ☁ travel
  • ✿ me
  • ♪ music
  • ☾ nights
  • ♡ fam
  • ✧ wins
  • ❀ friends

Why Some Aesthetic Symbols Show as Boxes

Every phone ships with fonts that cover common characters. Rare scripts like Linear A (𐙚), Inscriptional Pahlavi (part of ᡣ𐭩), Lepcha (ᰔ) or Tai Le (part of ᥫ᭡) may be missing on older Android phones or some computers. The symbol is still there, but the screen draws an empty box or a question mark.

  • Test your bio on another phone or ask a friend to check.
  • If it breaks, swap to safer symbols: ⋆ ✧ ♡ ✿ ☁ ☾ ° work almost everywhere.
  • Keep at least your name in normal letters so people can always read it.

To type these, copying from the grid is easiest. In Word, type a code such as 2727 and press Alt+X for ✧. The degree ring ° also has Alt+0176 on Windows and Option+Shift+8 on Mac.

Frequently asked questions

What are aesthetic symbols?

They are small, soft-looking text characters such as ⋆ ✧ ♡ ✿ ☾ and ꒰ ꒱. People use them to decorate bios, captions and highlight names. They are text, not images, so you can copy and paste them like letters.

What is the pookie symbol?

There is no single official pookie symbol. The word means someone cute and sweet, and people show it with soft symbols like ᥫ᭡, ♡, ꒰ ꒱ and ʚ ɞ. Our pookie symbol copy and paste lines above are a good starting point.

Which aesthetic symbols work on all phones?

⋆ ✧ ♡ ✿ ❀ ☁ ☾ and ° are supported almost everywhere. Rare ones like 𐙚, ᰔ and ᡣ𐭩 may show as boxes on older phones. Mix in the safe ones if many people will see your bio.

How do I copy an aesthetic symbol on my phone?

Tap the symbol in the grid at the top and it is copied. Then long-press inside your bio or caption and choose Paste. Save your favourite line in your keyboard clipboard so you can reuse it.

Is ദ്ദി an emoji?

No. ദ്ദി is made of real Malayalam letters. Online, people use it as a cute face with a hand pose, often next to ✧. For Malayalam readers it reads as normal letters, so use it with that in mind.
